
Hey! It must be spring! I always think spring the first time I spot one of these beautiful birds. Yellow-headed Blackbirds are not easily mistaken for any other species of bird. They have a beautiful yellow head and make a distinct honk call. They can be found near bodies of water, lakes, ponds and slow moving rivers seem to be their favorite location. These were seen at Murtaugh Lake, between Burley and Twin Falls Idaho. Next time you are near a pond with these yellow headed birds, take a look and listen . Enjoy
